Seitai Hodoki and

Back pain

Back pain affects most adults at least once in their lives. Whether occasional or chronic, it often reflects an overall postural imbalance and accumulated muscular tension around the spine.

What is chronic or occasional back pain?

Back pain covers discomfort located anywhere along the spine — cervical, thoracic or lumbar. It may result from prolonged poor posture, a badly executed movement, stress, excessive sedentary habits or a long-standing muscular imbalance. In many cases, pain felt in one specific place actually originates from tension or a restriction elsewhere in the muscular chain.

How Seitai Hodoki can support back pain

Seitai Hodoki works through gentle vibrations and undulations (Yurigake) that progressively release muscle fibres at depth, without forced manipulation. Ki diffusion then supports circulation and overall release, while joint adjustment aims to rebalance posture as a whole — not only the painful area.

How a session unfolds

Sessions are given fully clothed, in comfortable clothing made of natural fabric. Please also bring a towel or body linen. An initial intake assessment helps identify the origin of the tension before shaping the session.

Seitai Hodoki is a complementary approach — it does not replace medical care.
